From order to fitted
Lead time is typically 2-3 weeks after survey. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
The product
The motor sits inside the barrel and the shutter is run from a key switch, a remote or both. Options include manual override for power cuts; safety edge and obstruction detection options.
Our Shropshire area
Shrewsbury is in Shropshire covering SY postcodes, and we are often working close by in Ludlow, Market Drayton and Telford.
Permission and Shropshire Council
Shropshire Council decides planning in Shrewsbury. A straight replacement is normally permitted, but anything that alters the look of the street usually needs consent. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
Price guide
Guide price: from £1,450 plus VAT for a standard opening. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
FAQs
Do you cover the whole of Shropshire?
Yes. We cover Shrewsbury and the rest of Shropshire, including Ludlow, Market Drayton and Telford.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
