Fire-rated shutters, Hinckley
Fire-rated shutters in Hinckley start from about £3,200 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
In Hinckley and nearby, the first step is a free site survey so the fire-rated shutters arrive made to fit.
How much?
Budget from £3,200 plus VAT as a starting point. Width, height, finish and access move the final figure. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
From order to fitted
Allow 4-6 weeks after survey from drawings to delivery. Fitting a standard Hinckley unit is normally one to two days on site. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.
What gets fitted
A fire shutter holds a compartment line for its rated period and closes automatically when the alarm panel signals. Common specifications: annual servicing recommended; tested and certified as a complete assembly.
Our Leicestershire area

Do you need consent?
In Hinckley, applications go to Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. A straight replacement is normally permitted, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
