Specification notes
A fire shutter holds a compartment line for its rated period and closes automatically when the alarm panel signals. You can specify drops automatically on a signal from the fire alarm panel; fail-safe release options.
Coverage

Do you need consent?
The local planning authority for Newark-on-Trent is Newark and Sherwood District Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, though external shutters and lit signs normally need approval. The survey confirms which rules apply.
Costs
Fire-rated shutters start at around £3,200 plus VAT. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Your price is held for 90 days.
Before you book
Do you cover the whole of Nottinghamshire?
Yes. We cover Newark-on-Trent and the rest of Nottinghamshire, including Mansfield, Worksop and Nottingham.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
