Timescales
Manufacture usually takes 2-3 weeks after survey. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.
The product
For smaller openings a manual shutter on a spring-balanced barrel is the most economical way to secure the frontage overnight. Options include powder-coated laths and guides; suited to openings up to about 3m wide.
Our West Midlands area
Brierley Hill falls within West Midlands across the DY postcode district, with regular work in neighbouring Wednesbury, Bilston and Willenhall.
Permission and Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council
Planning in Brierley Hill goes through Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
