Price guide
Manual roller shutters start at around £890 plus VAT. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Your price is held for 90 days.
How long it takes
Expect 2-3 weeks after survey for manufacture. Installation in Chesterfield is usually a day or two once everything is made. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
Specification notes
For smaller openings a manual shutter on a spring-balanced barrel is the most economical way to secure the frontage overnight. You can specify pull strap or winding handle; floor locks either side.
Nearby
Our Chesterfield jobs sit within Derbyshire and the S postcode area, and we are often working close by in Ilkeston, Glossop and Buxton.
Permission and Chesterfield Borough Council
In Chesterfield, applications go to Chesterfield Borough Council. A straight replacement is normally permitted, but anything that alters the look of the street usually needs consent. We check which applies to your unit at survey.
Common questions
Do you cover the whole of Derbyshire?
Yes. We cover Chesterfield and the rest of Derbyshire, including Ilkeston, Glossop and Buxton.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
