Permission and Walsall Council
Planning in Walsall goes through Walsall Council. A straight replacement is normally permitted, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
How much?
The entry price is about £1,750 plus VAT. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. Your price is held for 90 days.
How long it takes
Allow 2-3 weeks after survey from drawings to delivery. Fitting a standard Walsall unit is normally one to two days on site. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
What gets fitted
Punched laths let passers-by see the window display after closing time while the shutter still secures the opening. Common specifications: window display stays visible when closed; lets light and air through.
