Security grilles, Oldbury
Security grilles in Oldbury start from about £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
For businesses in Oldbury, we start by measuring the actual opening, not a photo and the security grilles are then made to those dimensions.
Permission and Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council decides planning in Oldbury. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We check which applies to your unit at survey.
Costs
Budget from £1,150 plus VAT as a starting point. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Your price is held for 90 days.
How long it takes
Allow 2-3 weeks after survey from drawings to delivery. Installation in Oldbury is usually a day or two once everything is made. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.
What gets fitted
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Common specifications: folds back into the reveal during trading; keeps the display visible.
