Security grilles, Derby
Security grilles in Derby start from about £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
For Derby shops and offices, a surveyor measures the unit before anything is priced and the security grilles are then made to those dimensions.
How long it takes
Expect 2-3 weeks after survey for manufacture. Installation in Derby is usually a day or two once everything is made. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.
The product
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Popular choices include keeps the display visible; powder-coated to match the frontage.
Our Derbyshire area
We treat Derby as part of our Derbyshire round across the DE postcode district, and we are often working close by in Ilkeston, Glossop and Buxton.
Do you need consent?
Derby City Council decides planning in Derby. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. You will know before you order.
Price guide
The entry price is about £1,150 plus VAT. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
