Planning rules in Ilkeston
In Ilkeston, applications go to Erewash Borough Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
How much?
Budget from £1,150 plus VAT as a starting point. Width, height, finish and access move the final figure. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
From order to fitted
Lead time is typically 2-3 weeks after survey. Installation in Ilkeston is usually a day or two once everything is made. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
The product
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. You can specify powder-coated to match the frontage; retractable lattice or fixed bar designs.
