Security grilles, Hereford
Security grilles in Hereford start from about £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
For businesses in Hereford, every job begins with a visit to measure the opening so the security grilles arrive made to fit.
Costs
Budget from £1,150 plus VAT as a starting point. Width, height, finish and access move the final figure. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
How long it takes
Lead time is typically 2-3 weeks after survey. On site, most Hereford jobs take one or two days. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
Specification notes
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Options include powder-coated to match the frontage; retractable lattice or fixed bar designs.
Coverage
Hereford falls within Herefordshire covering HR postcodes, and we are often working close by in Ross-on-Wye and Leominster.
Permission and Herefordshire Council
In Hereford, applications go to Herefordshire Council. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, but anything that alters the look of the street usually needs consent. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
