Security grilles, Leominster
Security grilles in Leominster start from about £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
For businesses in Leominster, a surveyor measures the unit before anything is priced and the security grilles are then made to those dimensions.
Permission and Herefordshire Council
The local planning authority for Leominster is Herefordshire Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, though external shutters and lit signs normally need approval. The survey confirms which rules apply.
Price guide
The entry price is about £1,150 plus VAT. Width, height, finish and access move the final figure. The written quotation is valid for 90 days.
From order to fitted
Expect 2-3 weeks after survey for manufacture. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
Specification notes
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Options include folds back into the reveal during trading; keeps the display visible.
Coverage
Leominster is in Herefordshire including the HR postcodes, so the team is regularly nearby in Ross-on-Wye and Hereford.
FAQs
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of Herefordshire?
Yes. We cover Leominster and the rest of Herefordshire, including Ross-on-Wye and Hereford.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
