Security grilles, Newport

In Newport and nearby, the first step is a free site survey then we put the security grilles price in writing.
Price guide
Budget from £1,150 plus VAT as a starting point. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
Timescales
Lead time is typically 2-3 weeks after survey. Fitting a standard Newport unit is normally one to two days on site. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.
Specification notes
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Popular choices include folds back into the reveal during trading; keeps the display visible.
Coverage
Newport falls within Shropshire and the TF postcode area, and we are often working close by in Ludlow, Market Drayton and Telford.
Permission and Telford & Wrekin Council
Planning in Newport goes through Telford & Wrekin Council. Swapping like for like is usually fine, though external shutters and lit signs normally need approval. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
Questions from Newport customers
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of Shropshire?
Yes. We cover Newport and the rest of Shropshire, including Ludlow, Market Drayton and Telford.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
