Local planning
Planning in Rugby goes through Rugby Borough Council. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, but anything that alters the look of the street usually needs consent. The survey confirms which rules apply.
How much?
Bi-folding shopfronts start at around £5,200 plus VAT. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
Lead times
Expect 4-5 weeks after drawing sign-off for manufacture. Fitting a standard Rugby unit is normally one to two days on site. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
The product
Folding the whole frontage back turns the glass line into open trading space, so pavement seating reads as part of the room. Popular choices include low-profile threshold when open; traffic door built into the run for daily use.

Before you book
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of Warwickshire?
Yes. We cover Rugby and the rest of Warwickshire, including Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon and Bedworth.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
