How much?
Budget from £3,200 plus VAT as a starting point. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
From order to fitted
Expect 4-6 weeks after survey for manufacture. On site, most Coventry jobs take one or two days. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
The product
A fire shutter holds a compartment line for its rated period and closes automatically when the alarm panel signals. Popular choices include tested and certified as a complete assembly; drops automatically on a signal from the fire alarm panel.

Permission and Coventry City Council
The local planning authority for Coventry is Coventry City Council. Swapping like for like is usually fine, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. The survey confirms which rules apply.
Common questions
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
How much does fire-rated shutters cost in Coventry?
