For Oakham shops and offices, we start by measuring the actual opening, not a photo so the quotation for the shopfront glass replacement is a real figure.
From order to fitted
Manufacture usually takes Glass made to order, typically 3-7 days. Fitting a standard Oakham unit is normally one to two days on site. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
About the product
Shopfront glass must be toughened or laminated wherever it sits in a critical location, so panes are made to the measured size rather than cut from stock. Popular choices include measured on site; old glass removed and disposed of.

Local planning
Planning in Oakham goes through Rutland County Council. Swapping like for like is usually fine, but anything that alters the look of the street usually needs consent. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
Price guide
The entry price is about £480 plus VAT. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
Common questions
Do you cover the whole of Rutland?
Yes. We cover Oakham and the rest of Rutland, including Uppingham.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
